But, our family gatherings had similar levels of angst, suppressed anger and fudge.
Quite a few bars are open on the Hill tonight, but not all of them and some of them will open later than usual. We know Neighbours, The Cuff, Diesel, The Elite, R Place and Madison Pub are open and The Wildrose is closed. We don’t know about Eagle, Purr, Pony or Lobby. Neighbours is hosting Rock Lobster tonight with new hostess Ursula Major; The Cuff is having “Spanksgiving” and Diesel is serving din-din, so you do have some drinking options for your evening. Oh, and the uber-popular new event “ElektroPOP!” at The Baltic Room is taking the night off to give Arden, Jimmy, Mama Tits, Skiddle and the Go-Go Boys a break, but they’ll be back next week.
Oh, and don’t forget you can Thanksgiving Dinner at The Grill on Broadway and Diesel this afternoon!
And, it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a visit from….GOBBLES!
