Mr. Hurley ventured out to have a sit down with the stars of “Modern Luv”, Mark Siano and Opal Peachey. “Modern Luv” opens TONIGHT (Thursday, March 15, 2012) at The Triple Door in its second incarnation and prior to traveling to The Big Apple for its NYC debut next month. An original musical created by Mr. Siano, “Modern Luv” examines, uh, modern love, in the digital age:
The show is a hilarious parody of life and love in the digital age, where texting, emailing, facebooking, and “liking” have replaced true romance. Mark Siano, Seattle’s god of soft rock (who will bring back the classic sparkletard), strikes up a long distance internet relationship with New York’s goddess of hard rock, Opal Peachey. Sparks fly and gigabytes die when they realize that no one truly is who they are online.
“Modern Luv” performs one show on Thursday, and early and late shows on Friday and Saturday…get tickets HERE!
Now, check out the interview with the adorable Ms Peachey and Mr. Siano:

From this small spark, a “musical about cabaret performers” was born, with Siano and Peachey playing themselves in an alternate, rom-com universe. They spoke with Seattle Gay Scene about the show here. […]
