Here’s An Idea We Can Get Behind…Seattle Pride in AUGUST!

June 23, 2012• bySeattle Gay Scene

Well, we won’t be seeing many displays like THIS in Seattle this weekend for Pride…MOVE SEATTLE PRIDE TO AUGUST!!!!

Some brilliant folks started this page over at Facebook: Move Seattle’s Pride Parade To August! We strongly encourage you to go join it!

Because…

DUH! June weather FREQUENTLY sucks in the Pacific NW! And, we wouldn’t have to compete with the other 6793 cities having Pride celebrations the last weekend in June which means it would be easier to book big name talent for shows! And, most importantly, less chance for shitty, shitty weather and more chance for hot, sunny weather which means more options for people to run around in jock straps and thongs!

Win/Win!!!!
