STG and The Moore Are Offering Up A Special “Shear Madness” Pride Happy Hour

June 8, 2012• bySeattle Gay Scene

It’s been around since the Age of Reagan, but the hit “whodunnit” comedy play “Shear Madness” has been delighting audiences with his campy humor and interactive audience participation is still a terrific night of theater. A touring production of  “Shear Madness” has parked itself at the lovely Moore Theatre in downtown Seattle courtesy of the Seattle Theatre Group for a long run and they’re offering up a delightful treat for LGBTQ audiences during Pride Month:

The Seattle Theatre Group invites you for a Shear Pride Happy Hour, to
celebrate Seattle Pride Month on June 15th!

Join us for lots of laughs at the longest-running comedy hit in America, SHEAR
MADNESS in it’s first ever national tour, making it’s first stop at the historic
Moore Theatre, in downtown Seattle.  Tickets are just $36 pus fees (reg. $45.00)
and include a complimentary pre-show wine reception, exclusively for YOU!

To purchase your “Shear Pride” ticket to SHEAR MADNESS, just use
code SHEARPRIDE at the beginning of your purchase.
The special pre-show
reception begins at 6:30pm, and the show starts at 8pm.  Upon entering the
theatre, just head downstairs one level to the main bar and enjoy light fare and
great wine. This is a perfect opportunity to see the show and mingle with fellow
theatre-goers.  Some cast members of SHEAR MADNESS may also be in
attendance!

* Voted “Best Comedy of the Year” seven times by the Boston Globe, SHEAR
MADNESS has also received the Raven Award from the Mystery Writers of
America and has been inducted into the Comedy Hall of Fame, the first play ever
to receive that accolade.  SHEAR MADNESS is listed in the Guinness Book of
World Records as the longest running play in the history of the United States.

If that date doesn’t work for you, “Shear Madness” continues its run through June 24, 2012 at The Moore. You can get tickets for other performances, HERE!
