Thursday night, May 16 was the big opening night gala for SIFF 2013 at McCaw Hall at Seattle Center, and a buttload of names were walking the Red Carpet representing the opening night film, “Much Ado About Nothing” including beloved fanboy director/writer Joss “Buffy/Angel/Firefly” Whedon and stars Nathan Fillion, Amy Acker, Clark Gregg, Alexis Denisof and his wife, actress Alyson Hannigan who doesn’t appear in the film, but is a beloved member of the “Whedonverse” via her role as Willow in “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”.

Seattle’s beloved indy movie queen, director Lynn Shelton was also there…her film, “My Sister’s Sister” was the opening night film last year, and this year her film “Touchy Feely” will also play SIFF 2013.

These photos are from Dana Landon from “It’s My Darlin” and the SIFF Facebook page. You can check out more of their Darlin’ photos at their website.

“Much Ado About Nothing” hits cinemas on June 7, 2013.
