It’s Oscar Eve…Not Too Late To Buy Tix To The Big Gay City/$3 Bill Party

In Hollywood, all the Stars are busy getting their faces made tauter than a virgin’s hymen and their hymens waxed to within an inch of their lives…they gotta look purdy for the Red Carpet for Sunday evening’s Academy Awards, live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California! 

Meanwhile, all over the globe (except for the places more worried about war, hunger, or killing gays) venues are planning all sorts of big Oscar watching parties in an effort to lure you in and make some bank…just like Hollywood Mega Corporations!

You have several Oscar viewing options in Queero Seattle…every bar/restaurant with a television or two will be showing it and probably have a shrieking queen hosting. We know Purr, R Place, CC’s will all be showing it.

However, we always support our non-profit friends at Gay City Health Project and Three Dollar Bill Cinema and their big annual Oscar Watching Party Fundraiser. It’s the classiest party in town AND it helps raise funds for two awesome organizations. Here’s the poo on this year’s orgy of film lust:

Gay City Health Project & Three Dollar Bill Cinema are partnering up once again to present the hottest Oscars event in town, their 9th Annual Academy Awards Party benefit. Join Seattle’s swanky glitterati on Sunday, March 2 to support of two prominent LGBT non-profits, and enjoy an exquisitely fabulous Oscars experience hosted by the vivacious Robbie Turner.

The party moves to Fred Wildlife Refuge this year, a gorgeous Capitol Hill event space, and will feature the Academy Awards ceremony projected onto giant wall screens. Everyone will enjoy a glamorous Hollywood experience, with savory hors d’oeuvres, fully stocked no-host bar, Oscar Ballot contest with door prize entries, and, of course, the opportunity to participate in our fabulous Oscar raffle.

This year also features a more exclusive VIP experience, with special VIP tables and table service right – and the best seats in the house! VIP tickets include a reserved table seat, champagne, free coat check, and a fabulous gift bag featuring complimentary Cinerama and Northwest Film Forum passes.
