MANY folks are VERY excited about the “Timberline Revisited” Tea Dance Revival happening Sunday afternoon/evening at Raisbeck Hall, the former location for the beloved but sadly shuttered Seattle landmark country/western themed bar that shut its doors 9 years ago after a long tour of duty. The Timberline returns to its old haunts at the venue where it started which is now a performance space for Cornish College of the Arts at 2015 Boren Avenue just off Denny Way. This special revisit is a fundraiser for the Seattle Men’s Chorus/Seattle Women’s Chorus and is also an official Seattle Pride event.
As of this post, (3pm on Sunday, June 1) there’s a line of about 75 people. There should be people coming and going all evening long so don’t be deterred thinking the lines will be too long!!
UPDATE AT 3:18 PM ON SUNDAY, JUNE 1: Line is at 150 and growing quickly!!! Get your booties down there!!!!!
Also: Bring CASH! No cards excepted!!!!
