Check Out The New El Chupacabra In South Lake Union!

El Chupacabra South Lake Union is Grand Opening it as we type this!!!

El Chupacabra South Lake Union is Grand Opening it as we type this!!!

Yes….it’s blatant advertorial love!

The rapidly growing family of El Chupacabra Mexican restaurants has just added a new sibling to join the venues on Greenwood/Phinney Ridge and Alki/West Seattle. The punk rock cantina with the sassy staff is grand opening their brand spanking  new location in the hotly trendy South Lake Union ‘hood with specials all day long.  We’ve heard it’s HAPPY HOUR ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!

This afternoon is the perfect time to go…the weather is delish and all the Amazon workers are busy plotting ways to destroy Capitol Hill so only the alkies will be sneaking out to enjoy margaritas and burritos during their afternoon break! (Don’t let Bezos catch you!! Curtains!)

We also like El Chupacabra because friends work there and we prefer it when our friends have real jobs….for those of us w/o real jobs, we like being able to depend on their kindness.

El Chupacabra South Lake Union is at 901 Fairview Avenue N…it’s next to Dukes and Chandler’s Crab House on the Southeast corner of Lake Union (hint: it’s where Hooters used to be….the El Chupacabra wait staff is very attractive but they won’t be wearing industrial strength panty hose and tube socks…at work.)

Also: Buy an ad from us and we’ll blatantly love YOU, too!!!

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
