Queer Bar Drops The Bomb: Kim Petras, Iggy Azalea To Headline 2022 Pride Events; Cuff Complex Also Announces Big Line-Up

Iggy Azalea, Kim Petras and Princess Nokia headline Queer Bar’s 2022 Pride Festival

And, the bar just got raised.

Queer Bar announced today their ridiculously starry line-up for their 2022 LGBTQ Pride Party celebrations to happen over Pride Weekend in Seattle during the last weekend in June. Music stars KIM PETRAS, IGGYA AZALEA and PRINCESS NOKIA will all headline the three day festival with an equally impressive line-up of names in support.

The party will kick off on Friday, June 24th at Queer Bar, 1518 11th Avenue on Capitol Hill, Seattle’s traditional LGBTQ neighborhood and continue through Pride Sunday, June 26th. 11th Avenue in front of the club will be blocked off to created a large outdoor area for the main shows every day of the festival.

Also announced, the line-up for Cuff Pride Festival. Both Queer Bar and The Cuff Complex are owned by Joey Burgess and his husband Murf Hall.

The Cuff will also feature a 3 day festival, with beloved local rock band THUNDERPUSSY and the darkwave duo BOY HARSHER headlining along with internationally renowned circuit party collective HORSEMEAT DISCO and popular musical diva KIM ANN FOXMAN and bear duo, MAN ON MAN.

The news was released via press release:

“We’re back!” said Joey Burgess, who owns Burgess Hall Nightlife Group (establishments include: Queer/Bar, Cuff Complex, and The Woods) along with his husband, Murf Hall.

Burgess Hall Nightlife Group presents Queer/Pride Festival and Cuff Pride Festival, two of the most largely attended 21+ Pride festivals set in the heart of Seattle’s vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood. Both festivals take place over Pride weekend June 24th, 25th, and 26th 2022. These two concurrent festivals happen just two blocks apart.

“These festivals are a love letter to our community. We do it year-round in our brick-and-mortar venues, but Pride really helps us honor our culture, celebrate diversity, and continue our queer history; all while throwing the best party of the year.”

owner, Joey Burgess

The backup for both festivals is also impressive. Pop star/RPDR alum Adore Delano will perform as well as bounce star Mykki Blanco and rising music star Chong the Nomad. In addition to Queer Bar’s regular drag stars from their popular MX. weekly shows, a bevy of top national drag performers will perform including Crystal Methyd, Laganja Estranja, Kornbread, LaLa Ri, Heidi N Closet and Seattle’s own Bosco, currrently on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14 whose homebase bar is at Queer Bar.

Adult entertainers François Sagat and Sharok are among the many talents at Cuff Complex’s 2022 Pride Street Party

The Cuff festival will also feature parties from DJ Nark’s “Pigs Fly” party and the uber beloved Bearracuda crew. Plus, drag stars like Yara Sofia and Ongina and a whole slew of super hot gogo boy talent from internationally known gay porn stars like Sharok and François Sagat…expect Cuff Pride to be more “Folsom Street Fair…a grittier, more DIY space for the queer community” to party in.

Joey Burgess:

“In 2022, we’re back bigger than ever. And after the last two years, our community needs this! For all three days, from the moment our gates open until closing time, our two outdoor stages will be on fire with the hottest drag talent, musical guests, and performers from around the world.”

Both festival grounds feature a large main stage, multiple indoor and outdoor bars, international talent, local food trucks, photo moments, and more.
