Reminder: Nick Garrison Memorial At Seattle Rep

October 9, 2022• byMichael Strangeways

Just a reminder that a memorial event for the beloved Seattle actor and performer NICK GARRISON is happening Monday, October 10, 2022 at 6pm at Seattle Rep, 155 Mercer Street on the Seattle Center campus.

Nick suddenly passed away on July 26, 2022 at age 47 while walking on a local trail. His death devastated his family and friends and his many fans who had enjoyed him not only on Seattle area stages but across the country and in the U.K. and probably best known for his work as Hedwig in the rock ‘n’ roll musical, Hedwig & The Angry Inch.

He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
