Tacoma Earth Gay Is Coming Your Way

It’s time to get become an environmental steward and help clean up and restore vital wetlands, greenbelts and urban nature habitats and parks…just in time for Pride!

In Tacoma!

It’s EARTH GAY TACOMA and it’s happening on Saturday, July 22nd from 11am to 3pm at Dickman Mills Park, 2423 Ruston Way. It’s a project from Washington Conservation Action and they’ve been hosting the event since 2019 and teamed up with Tacoma Pride to give back to the environment during Tacoma’s Pride month.

Their main day of events is Saturday, July 9th but they have things happening from the end of June and through out the month of July.

Earth Gay is a series of fun and engaging events & activities in Tacoma with a goal of engaging community in activities related to the protection of our environment while connecting people to place/ to our natural world and providing opportunities to learn more about the environment and how we can all work together to achieve clean water, clean air and healthy forests in and around Tacoma. Accessible (free), open to all.

Earth Gay: Taking Pride in Conservation

We invite you to Join Tacoma Earth Gay 2023, the LGBTQ community’s most visible form of environmental activism and celebration. Earth Gay Tacoma will include fun and engaging ways to learn about sustainability, have fun, and restore a local park. As an official Tacoma Pride event, we strive to provide a safe and welcoming space for members of the queer community and allies to help better our community.  

 All ages, all abilities, and allies welcome.

Date: Saturday, July 22, 2023
Time: 11AM- 3PM
Location: Dickman Mills Park, 2423 Ruston Way, Tacoma, WA 98402
What to Bring: Suggested wear: sturdy closed footwear. We recommend sun protection including a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Bring a refillable water bottle, we will have water to refill. Gloves, tools, drinks, snacks, and instruction provided.
