Madonna Announces New Dates For Tour; Seattle Set For February 17th and 18th

August 15, 2023• byMichael Strangeways

After weeks of speculation, Team Madonna has announced dates for her rescheduled Celebration Tour which was postponed from its July 2023 start date after the beloved singer was hospitalized with a bacterial infection in June. The world tour, set to celebrate four decades of hits for the singer, was set to begin in Vancouver, BC and with a subsequent stop at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena on July 18th and 19th.

Today’s announcement reveals Madonna will honor those two original dates with shows on February 17th and 18th (a Saturday and a Sunday). All tickets from July will be honored at those dates.

The Celebration Tour is still set to open in London on October 14th and will then play dates thoughout Europe before hitting the U.S. in December for shows in NYC and Washington D.C. Make up dates for the postponed North American leg of the tour will begin after the holidays. Some of the concerts were forced to find new venues in certain cities while others had to be canceled for lack of available dates in certain cities.

Bob the Drag Queen was originally scheduled to be part of the Celebration Tour. We haven’t heard any statement from Bob that he will continue in that role.

A few tickets still remain for both shows at Ticketmaster. https://www.ticketmaster.com/madonna-the-celebration-tour-seattle-washington/event/0F005D75C06F2114

But, not necessarily in that order.
