Back for its 8th year, the uber popular celebration of Queer and Trans Black, Indigenous, and People of Color returns as a co-production from the Seattle Art Museum and Seattle Public Library (and other partners)…it’s the return of LEGENDARY CHILDREN and once again it’s happening at the Olympic Sculpture Park, 2999 Western Avenue down off of the waterfront.

While the party celebrates Queer/Trans/People of Color, the event is open to EVERYONE….over the age of 21.

Legendary Children returns this Friday night, November 17th from 8 to 11pm…it’s free but it’s good to pre-register at https://seattleartmuseum.org/visit/calendar/events?EventId=91377

The line-up includes:

LüChi, Aleksa Manila, CarLarans, Goddess Briq House, Viper Fengz, D’Mon!, Pixie Mattel, Ariyah Jané, Guma’ Gela’, Hailey Tayathy and more!

Legendary Children is a celebration of the artistry of Queer and Trans Black, Indigenous, people of color (QTBIPOC) communities. Funding for this event is made possible with support from the Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Public Library Foundation, Breaker Gallery and from generous donors who care about arts and social justice with QTBIPOC voices ringing loud and clear.

This event will be in-person with special guest spots on Instagram Live.

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
