Dragula and Werq The World Announce Tours And Seattle Stops For Fall

March 16, 2025• byMichael Strangeways

Well, it’s that time of year…for some of the big drag touring shows to annouce fall schedules. Naturally, Seattle will snag stops on both the Werq The World and Dragula tours.First up will be The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula 666 Tour which is produced by local production company Obsessed. Naturally it stars and is hosted by those devious Boulet Sister Brothers and it will feature stars from Season 6 of their beloved drag competition show including Grey Matter, Auntie Heroine, Asia Consent, and more. The tour opens in August and will wrap up in Seattle at the Neptune Theatre on September 25th. Get tickets at https://www.stgpresents.org/events/boulet-brothers-dragula/

The Boulets are set to terrify us in September then in October the Queens from Werq the World will visit Seattle starring many of your favorite divas from past seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race including Jimbo who will be hosting as “Joan Rivers” plus stars from the currently airing Season 17 of Drag Race. It’s a massive North America tour with Canadian and Mexican stops but they’ll bop into Seattle’s Paramount Theatre on October 14th. Tickets at https://www.stgpresents.org/events/rupauls-drag-race-werq-the-world-tour-2025/

More on the Werq tour:

The nominees are in, and the competition is fierce. This year, RuPaul’s Drag Race Werq the World is taking you behind the velvet ropes of the most exclusive awards show in herstory. Get ready to walk the red carpet hosted by Jimbo as Joan Rivers. Plus sickening performances by Derrick Barry as Britney Spears, Jaida Essence Hall as Beyoncé, Naomi Smalls as Mariah Carey, Marina Summers as Ariana Grande, Morphine as Shakira, and surpise guests including finalists from Season 17 on the most important night of the year for the art of Drag. Presented by Voss Events in collaboration with World of Wonder and MTV. Line-up subject to change.

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
