Seattle Men’s and Women’s Choruses Have A Big Season Planned For 25/26

As usual, the Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus have a bevy of concerts lined up for the rest of 2025 and the first half of 2026 including the big Xmas concert doing performances all over the region plus a visit to Oz in the spring! Check out all the info down below:

Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus Announce 2025-26 Season

Experience holiday magic, the importance of legacy, a yellow-brick road celebration & more!

SEATTLE – Seattle Men’s Chorus (SMC) and Seattle Women’s Chorus (SWC) return to the stage for the 2025-26 season with five brand-new concerts, which will treat audiences to holiday magic, the importance of legacy, a yellow-brick road celebration, and more.

The new season will feature performances across Seattle, along with select shows in Tacoma, Everett, and Bellingham to reach audiences throughout the Pacific Northwest. Also, back by popular demand, is a special holiday kids’ show perfect for short attention spans, plus the choruses will again offer streaming passes for their three mainstage shows, which also allow for viewing following the performance.

“We bring joy to our audiences, and this season we bring it in abundance! We kick off the season with the Seattle Men’s Chorus holiday show, which features everything Seattle audiences know and love about this tradition,” said Paul Caldwell, artistic director for Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus. “This season, the Seattle Women’s Chorus will sing songs themed around legacy. Our spring show will have you dancing down the yellow-brick road with the Seattle Men’s Chorus as they sing songs from Wicked, The Wiz, and The Wizard of Oz, and both choruses will have special performances just for Pride Month.”

Seattle Men’s Chorus Holiday Show

SMC rings in everyone’s favorite holiday tradition featuring seasonal classics, Christmas comedy, costumes, dancing, and the gayest sing-along in Seattle. This year, SMC will also premiere the NOTcracker Suite — a five-minute rendition of the holiday staple featuring hilarious lyrics, props, and antics you expect from the Seattle Men’s Chorus during the hollyest, jolliest time of the year!

Legacy

Seattle Women’s Chorus Concert

Seattle Women’s Chorus welcomes resident conductor Beth Ann Bonnecroy to the podium this season. This concert will explore the theme of women’s legacies on the environment, family, and community with music from female, BIPOC, trans, and non-binary composers. SWC will be among the first groups to perform Moira Smiley’s newest anthem, We Are Timeless celebrating queer experience and queer joy. “We are timeless, boundless, we are far, we are near. We are alive beyond the poison of fear. We are all stronger when we are open and true. You with me, me with you.”

Seattle Men’s Chorus Concert

There’s no place like a Seattle Men’s Chorus show! Seattle Men’s Chorus celebrates all the versions of Oz: Wicked, The Wiz, and The Wizard of Oz. Jam-packed with mashups: Defying Gravity with Somewhere Over the Rainbow; Dancing Through Life with If I Only Had a Brain; Ease on Down the Road with Follow the Yellow Brick Road. Singing, dancing, costumes, videos — all under the most colorful rainbow ever.

Seattle Women’s Chorus Concert

Members of Seattle Women’s Chorus bring their voices together for an intimate Pride performance filled with love songs and empowering anthems. This special event offers audiences a chance to experience the beauty and strength of choral music up close. With heartfelt melodies and messages of unity, the chorus celebrates love in all its forms.
