ABOUT THE SERIES
Ian Bell’s Brown Derby Series has presented “Ridiculously Staged Readings of Your Favorite Screenplays” since 1999, becoming a Seattle comedy institution with a loyal following. Director Ian Bell teams up with Seattle’s funniest performers in a willfully misguided attempt to deliver “movie magic” using cardboard sets, thrift store props, tortured wigs, and the audience’s own inebriated suspension of disbelief. The Stranger dubbed the Brown Derby Series “the Crown Prince of Seattle’s marvelously ramshackle theater tradition!”ABOUT THE SHOW
The Brown Derby Series sinks its teeth into the brooding world of sparkly vampires, angst-ridden teens, and one very intense biology class. When a shy newcomer arrives in the gloomy town of Forks, she falls for a mysterious classmate with an even more mysterious thirst for… well, you know. This “hilariously adapted, ridiculously staged reading” is the perfect Valentine’s Day pre-funk for everyone who knows love bites… hard.STARRING:
Scott Shoemaker • Erin Stewart • Dusty Warren • Freddy Molitch • Cory Nealy • Basil Harris
