“Pillion” Screens At NWFF

It’s already been on area screens but if you missed it or prefer to see it in a more intimate arthouse cinema on Capitol Hill, then here’s your chance to check out the sexy new film, PILLION starring Harry Melling as a shy gay man and Alexander Skarsgård as the man of his dreams, a Tom of Finland image come to life. The two embark on a complicated BDSM relationship with Melling as the sub and Skarsgård as the dom, not to mention Scissor Sister’s singer Jake Shears in a supporting role as the guy who gets his butt ate in a major motion picture. FUN!!!

The film has received some good reviews for its portrayal of a queer BDSM relationship and for the performances. It’s a terrific first film from British director Harry Lighton who is only 33.

Screenings at Northwest Film Forum, 1515 12th Ave, on Capitol Hill begin Friday, March 20 and will have 11 screening through Wednesday, April 1st (see schedule below). The Friday March 27th and Saturday March 28th 7pm screenings are designated as “Gear Nights” so if you’re into the leather/BDSM scene, show up in your best leathers. There will be post film discussions with leather folk after the screening.
