Seattle Pride’s Annual Pride in the Park Event Is This Saturday!

Sadly, since it’s the first weekend of June in Seattle, it’s not surprisingly going to be a bit brisk and potentially drippy so…WEAR LAYERS! DRIP DRY LAYERS!!!! Because we know a chilly, potentially dampish, typically late springish Seattle Saturgay is NOT going to deter folkx who need to get outside and express a bit of LGBTQ+ Pride with friends and family…especially when it’s in lovely Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill, the longtime former home for Seattle’s annual Pride events.

It’s all happening Saturday, June 6th from Noon to 7pm and it’s a FREE event and very family friendly so it’s a terrific budget conscious event for everyone! And, it’s all produced by Seattle Pride, the producers of the Seattle Pride Parade which happens later in the month, on Sunday, June 28th in downtown Seattle!

Down below there’s more info including a performance schedule for the stage entertainment. And, yes, it’s your typical LGBTQ+ Pride festival with booths, both non-profit and merchy, and there’s a booze area, and food trucks, and stuff for the the kiddies to do.

Seattle Pride in the Park — Seattle Pride’s free, family-friendly LGBTQIA2S+ festival kicks off Pride Month at Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill from noon-7 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, setting the tone for a season of celebration, connection, and action. With this year’s theme “Rally,” Seattle’s premier festival of queer arts, music, and culture returns with an all-day, joy filled experience.
