The Beloved White Center Pride Festival Returns This Weekend!!!

It’s become one of the funnest neighborhood LGBTQ+ Pride events in the Seattle Metroplex…WHITE CENTER PRIDE FESTIVAL returns this coming Saturday, June 6th for its 7th outing, with a whole slew of stuff happening in one of the hipper street festivals around. The funky little working class enclave just south of Seattle is home to a huge community of LGBTQ+ folkx who know how to throw a good time party on 16th Avenue. Not only is White Center home to the beloved Lumber Yard Bar, one of the few gay owned bars in the ‘burbs, there’s also a ton of LGBTQ+ friendly businesses who all participate in the annual event include Southgate Roller Rink, home of the popular gay skating parties.

The theme of the 2026 White Center Pride Street Festival is: “All Out” which is inspired by the people who make up our community here in White Center. Everywhere we look, we see our neighbors helping each other, learning from each other, coming together to celebrate, and be there for each other through both the good and hard times. It is our hope we can all be “out” and proud as queer people, but no matter what our identities in the White Center community, we will be going All Out for each other.
