The tennis in the Seattle community has grown and become very popular. The gay community of tennis players have a common place to go and find some common ground and share their interests as well as have a great time with a number of events developed during the year for all to share and do. It seems that their are a lot of gay men and women, as i have come to find out that would like to play and get out, but do not have a common group to share. The Seattle Tennis Alliance is such a group that shares those needs and hopefully brings many of you together and those that would like to play have a chance to get involved. I have been a member now for two years and have had a great time with a friendly group that you can share in yourself. There have been recently several tournaments and competitive events as well as social events that involve players, everything from beginners to very advanced. There are team tennis opportunities as well both club sponsored as well as USTA sponsored.
The group currently has social tennis every tuesday and thursday at the Lower Woodland courts in Woodland park, 6:30pm-8pm. Quite frequently we are able to play beyond the scheduled time as long as other players are not waiting for the courts. The courts are newly refurbished and with lights and you can have a great time. Come out and meet the guys and gals who play. Who knows you might even meet someone that catches your attention and you never know where that may lead. YES, of course to a new friend. Oh, maybe you were thinking of something else. Anyway, the tennis is there and it is a good chance for you to have a good time and get a little exercise too. That work day can sure put on the pounds if you let it. Tennis will sure help be a good escape from the stress and get a little relief too. Relief, I know you were thinking of something else again.
Check out the tennis group and the players who are much like you, Hot, HOT, HOT.
See you soon, I hope,
Respectfully,
PSW, randy
