Upsetting news is breaking about Thursday’s murder scene at a First Hill apartment complex that left a 30 year old man and a three year old boy dead, and a 39 year old man seriously wounded. All three were apparently stabbed and names have not yet been released for any of the victims. The survivor is a physician who recently moved to Seattle with the 30 year old victim and it’s believed the two were a longtime couple. But, that relationship, and the relationship of the three year old victim to the two men has not been officially confirmed by the Seattle Police Department. However, Q13 news has reported that that the child was the adopted son of the two men, and that eyewitnesses have stated that the wounded man confessed to the two murders as he was wheeled out of the M Street building Thursday morning.

What has been learned, according to the Seattle Times, is that the two men had moved to Seattle last month, after living in North Carolina where the physician had been attending Duke University and working on a residency in endocrinology. The two men had shared a home in North Carolina, and prior to that, in Chicago where the physician earned his medical degree.

Currently, the physician is  listed in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit at Harborview Medical Center.

No charges have been filed in the case which is obviously still under investigation.
