It’s a big day at the 16th Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival with many screenings at The Egyptian and Northwest Film Forum. And, many of us are still recovering from last night’s awesome Opening Gala starring the new adorable comedy, “Dirty Girl” and the equally awesome after party at Fred Wildlife Refuge with a performance from the very, very awesome Melissa Manchester. We’ll have some video about Friday night’s fun up soon, along with interviews with director Abe Sylvia and Ms Manchester herself.
As for today, we’re especially looking forward to this afternoon’s Spotlight film, “We Were Here” about the impact of the AIDS Crisis on San Francisco, and “Varla Jean and The Mushroomheads” at Midnight plus many other great films and programs. Check out our Video Promo about all of today’s events with special guest hosts, Keith Bacon from Three Dollar Bill Cinema and, uh, well, ME!
