The building that is home to Cafe Septieme on Broadway Avenue in Seattle has been sold to the same development firm that owns the nearby Bank of America building according to the Capitol Hill Seattle Blog. Noah’s Bagels and Pho 900 may be next, making way for a giant housing development taking up half the block.
Dominic Holden over at the SLOG says,
It’s inevitable that high-density construction on Broadway—a half-block from the new light-rail station—will replace the squat buildings. And it should.
Can’t say I disagree since most of Broadway Ave is currently on life support after serving as the gay Mecca in Seattle just over a decade ago.
Most importantly the space that is now Noah’s was Egg’s Cetera back in the early 90’s. It was arguably the gayest breakfast place in town.
