Pacific Northwest Ballet presents the special Family Matinee production, Pinocchio. This classic tale of a puppet who yearns to be a real boy will be presented as a narrated one-act ballet for young audiences. Pinocchio is conceived and choreographed by Bruce Wells and will feature nearly 60 students of Pacific Northwest Ballet School in each hour-long matinee performance for children and parents.
Pinocchio runs February 7 and 8 at Seattle Center’s McCaw Hall. Here is a preview of creator Bruce Wells and Costume Shop Manager Larae Theige Hascall bringing the characters alive through their costumes:
