Tonight, April 26, at 8pm is Gay Bingo at Cafe Metropolitain.
Cafe Metropolitain along with Equal Rights Washington and the Queer Ally Coalition host Drag Bingo, a fundraiser in support of victims of anti-LGBT hate and violence. The beneficiaries of this particular Drag Bingo Night fundraiser are recent victims of anti-gay hate crimes. Equal Rights Washington and the Queer Ally Coalition are teaming up to scrounge for money to help these victims pay their hefty medical bills.
Don’t miss this awesome event that includes all you need in an evening of fun and fancy: cheap booze, low lights, a high-class drag queen hostess, and tons of prizes to be won. Plus, it’s a fundraiser for a good cause, so you even get to feel good about spending a little bit of cash.
Cafe Metropolitain Drag Bingo is hosted by Giggles Galore starting at 8 pm on Sunday, April 26, for just a $5 donation to play. There are more prizes than seem possible, including items donated by James Alan Salon, Experience Music Project, and Archie McPhees. Drink specials are all day, such as $1 pints and $5 pitchers of PBR.
So come on down, have a lot of fun, leave with good memories, stuff you didn’t know you needed, and the smug satisfaction of knowing that you, yes you, have made a difference in somebody’s life by drinking alcohol and playing bingo.
Metropolitain, 1701 E. Olive Way at Boylston.
