Seattle Bellevue has just moved a little closer to becoming a real city.
In major cities across the country the Neiman Marcus Department Store rocks all the rest with their old school service and unwavering style. While Nordstroms is very Northwest, Neiman Marcus is so not, but that’s kind of what I like about it. You can pay over $400 for a designer dress shirt or $100 for a t-shirt and actually feel pretty good about it. And when their annual sale dubbed “Last Call” finally comes around and the men’s shirts reach a mere $150 the racks will be virtually barren of inventory.
Their Annual Christmas Catalog is legendary featuring unique and extravagant gifts for over 80 years, with a few items that are one of a kind and carry a six figure price tag. Go here to see some of the items from their 2008 catalog.
The chain has been called “one of last glamorous department stores,” however, once you walk in I doubt you be overwhelmed with opulence, but to feel the excitement you have to understand the history and the status that a Neiman Marcus brings not only to the city but to its shoppers as well.
Neiman Marcus opens at 10am on Saturday September 11, 2009.
