The Gregory Awards: A Swoon Fest Event For The Theater Nerd

MY choice for the Best Musical Production....from Aug 2013, Sound Theater Company's production of "The Wild Party" which has already won The Gypsy Award back in January of this year.

MY choice for the Best Musical Production….from Aug 2013, Sound Theater Company’s production of “The Wild Party” which has already won The Gypsy Award back in January of this year.

It’s Seattle’s version of the Tony Awards…tonight, Monday, October 20th the Seattle theater community gathers at The Moore Theater for Theatre Puget Sound’s 88th  6th Annual GREGORY AWARDS honoring excellence in local theater. A cavalcade of (local) stars will grace the Red Carpet tonight as awards are presented in 20 categories including new ones for supporting actors in supporting roles in musicals.

Day of Show tickets are available at the door for $50.

Here are the nominations for the top 3 categories. Please note The Gregory Award year of eligibility runs seasonally, from August to the following July unlike Seattle’s other theater awards, The Gypsy Awards which are presented for the calendar year.
