Once, ever year we reach a certain time of the holiday season where it’s time to give back to others and the community. It is a time for caring, sharing, being with family and friends, and building new plans for the upcoming New Year to come. Well, Ryan Hazy is producing a fun evening of Singing, Holiday Music, Sing-A-Long and more! Special Guests all evening long, a few surprises. This is not your typical fundraiser.
A Happy Gay Holiday promises to be an unforgettable evening of jello shots, drag, singers, comedy, and more! So come join us in our efforts to give back to Education. We have some FABULOUS Auction items as well. it will be a really fun evening. So come and get in the Holiday spirit and help a good cause all at the same time.
The fundraiser will benefit the JC/Lady Graytop Memorial Scholarship fund, which was the first ever GAY scholarship created in Seattle over 30 years ago.
This scholarship is really important. Every year students from across the state apply for this scholarship. Whether they are currently enrolled in college or about to go to college, this fund helps them with the cost of books, tuition and whatever else they can afford to pay for.
And ever February at the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle’s Coronation, they award the scholarship to one lucky applicant. It really is a cool thing for these students to be able to experience.
So please, find it in your heart this holiday season to come out and help us raise money for a good cause.
The show will begin promptly at 8pm and will be held at Cafe Metropolitain (1701 E. Olive Way) on the corner of Boylston. There is a suggested $5.00 donation. But not required to enter the door. The show will be hosted by Ryan Hazy and the lovely Miss Madison Lane Weston
So come out, live life, and oh yeah, one last thing….
