The Seattle Rock Orchestra is following up last year’s tribute to Arcade Fire with a new brand new show honoring the “Thin White Duke” Mr Ziggy Stardust himself, David Bowie on Friday, March 26th at 8pm at the Moore Theatre. Featuring a 70 piece orchestra and local guest vocalists and rockers like John Roderick from “The Long Winters”, Jon Auer from “The Posies”, David Terry from “Aqueduct”, Noela Johnston from “People Eating People”, Alessandra Rose from “The Kindness Kind” and many others, this promises to be a one of kind event…I mean, when was the last time you heard “Space Oddity” or “Life on Mars?” or “Changes” performed by that large of an orchestra? This is a must see/hear event for Bowie fans, the next best thing to seeing him in person, and if you AREN’T a Bowie fan, then you are must have something wrong with you…please see a doctor.
