During the 2006 Golden Globe Awards alone Brokeback Mountain won Best Picture, Best Director, Best Sceenplay and Best Original Song. Felicity Huffman won Best Actress for Transamerica and Philip Seymour Hoffman won Best Actor for his portrayal of the gay character Capote.
