Elite’s location, relatively close to many of the residential buildings on Capitol Hill, has contributed to the brisk business they have developed right out of the chute. Business has been steadily picking up ever since it opened back on December 1st. Starting in February they expanded their hours from Noon to 2 am everyday. Initially, they closed at midnight on weekdays but they found themselves remaining open after midnight because of the heavy amount of weekday business they were getting.

Kyle, Elite’s night bartender on weekdays, mentioned he was surprised at how many people would come in late on a Thursday night. Something he said you’d expect on weekends but Thursdays have been pretty busy. Just recently the bar added two electronic dart boards which has added to people’s interest in visiting the bar.

Kay, the manager of Elite, expressed her enthusiasm at how things at the bar have taken off so well in just two months. She attributes the success to a solid group of friendly people that make others feel at home. You get a strong sense that she really enjoys her job because of the people she gets to interact with on a daily basis. The sign posted above the bar appears to be much more than just a witty decoration.
Elite is located at 1510 E Olive Way near Denny Way on Capitol Hill. Their hours are 12 pm to 2 am everyday.
