Orville Peck is gonna attempt another visit to Seattle! We say another, because Orville was supposed to come to Seattle for Pride in 2020 but a little something called the Covid jinxed that, then he was booked for Queer PrideFest for last year but “exhaustion” forced him to cancel that gig, sooooooo…. third time’s the charm, right? (Yes, we know, he’s been here before.)
The mask wearing gay country singer from South Africa has a new album out (“Stampede”) so he’s starting a big national tour on May 28th but he’s not getting to Seattle until towards the end of the tour, on September 25th, out at Chateau Ste Michelle Winery in Woodinville…hopefully, he paces himself better this time! Dear Orville: you don’t have to stay out until the wee hours EVERY night!!! Hint, hint.
Orville also has a new mask, showing more face (gurl…it’s time to lose the mask…gimmicky! In fact, just lose ALL the clothes!) and he’s got a duet single with the legendary Willie Nelson out, too! (Darling Willie can keep his clothes on.)
Orville is so popular, that tickets to the Chateau Ste Michelle show are already tough to find…the official site only has expensive resell tickets ( https://concerts.livenation.com/orville-peck-stampede-tour-woodinville-washington-09-25-2024/event/0F00607CACE43EB5 ) and while Orville is cute and talented, he’s not $2400 cute and talented…at least not clothed.
StubHub has cheaper tickets but…buyer be wary! https://www.stubhub.com/orville-peck-woodinville-tickets-9-25-2024/event/153355371/
