We have a Keiko Green mini-festival with two of her newest plays (Hells Canyon, Exotic Deadly) opening at once! A few events are one-day or one-weekend short, so attention is needed. World premieres and wildly different subject matter give us so much to see and do this month. Book-It pops in again!

This new musical boldly explores the triumphs and failures of a struggle for equality that’s far from over. The women of the suffragist movement—who called themselves “Suffs” for short—were brilliant, but as they fought tirelessly for the right to vote, they were also flawed, stubborn, passionate and funny. These remarkable friendships show the heartbreak, and how this movement brought them together—or, in some cases, tore them apart.
