One Degree Events took over PrideFest last year 6 weeks before the event and the event was very successful. However, Egan Orion of One Degree Events personally put in a significant amount of money to assure the success of the event, as did several other people. This year, they need the community to pitch in to make this happen.
We’re bringing in talent from around the nation, having activists and politicians speak to the many challenges we face, will have DJs spin the fountain for a memorable day or dancing, and bring 100s of non-profits to the Center to have face time with the community. And that’s just the start. Last year, we gave nearly $10,000 to underfunded community non-profits. This year, we are planning on doubling that amount and making the event bigger and better. PRIDE STARTS WITH YOU. Many people have given thousands to make sure we have a great Pride here in Seattle – all we’re asking for is $200. You get tickets to great Pride parties, Pride merchandise, invites to VIP parties, and much more.
