Rain Country hosts an evening of classic country music at the Seattle Eagle, 314 E. Pike St., on the second Tuesday of each month, including tonight April 8, 2008 starting at 8:00 pm and going until midnight. This will be music only, no dancing. Featured music will be primarily from the 1960s to the 1980s, with selections from beyond that range. Think George and Tammy, Conway and Loretta, Dolly and Kenny, Willie and Waylon and the Boys, the Hag and Bocephus and the Man in Black.
Also, don’t forget about the Emerald City Hoedown: In partnership with the Cuff Complex, Century Ballroom, and the Polish Home Association, Rain Country will provide over 20 hours of lessons and dancing the weekend of April 25–27.
More info will be coming on here about that event soon.
