Here’s some loverly photos from Sunday night’s big Oscar Party thrown by Gay City Health Project and Three Dollar Bill Cinema at The Social…the main viewing room was poorly ventilated (felt like Calcutta in the monsoon season) and the acoustics were awful but fun was had by all as they enjoyed the hosting of Robbie Turner and Andrew Tasakos, (and, not so much the television hosting of the awful Seth MacFarlane who is NOT a comedian) as well as the presence of gold tinted Oscar boys and tasty food/bev. The best place to watch and mingle was in the front part, home to Theory, where the sound was much better and you could actually BREATHE!!!

Three Dollar Bill Cinema is now busy prepping for their big annual gala/fundraiser/par-tay and this year they are calling it, “The Birdcage” and it’s happening Saturday, April 13 at Herban Feast in SoDo. It features terrific food plus both a silent and live auction and it’s a great cause…who doesn’t want to help out the org who does so many great things for the community?
Book your seat here, (Early bird buyers get a discount!) or get a gaggle of friends together to book a table and turn it into a night of merriment. The event usually runs 6 to 10pm and then you can make your way back up the Hill for the 3rd Annual Miss Bacon Strip Pageant at its new home at The Grill on Broadway! FUN!
Note: Three Dollar Bill also needs terrific items/services for the auction. If you or your business have something amazing to donate, go here!
