Ten student designers at the New York Fashion Academy in Ballard will be presenting their 7th Annual Runway Fashion Show on April 9th. Among these student designers include Angela Allen Design, Fancyhawk- Caitlyn Peticlerc, GinaMarie by Gina Moorhead, Indismith. T Cambell, ingredients by Jenny Sims, Katy Flynn with Swift Seas, Kreati-Ka by Kate Mensah, Otoki by Martha Lucas, Shade by C. Vincent Stitch, Sharon Johnson, and tuTu + bEtz. Heather Sanders. Each of these students will be debuting their collection and each student is responsible for choosing models, music, directing hair and make-up and choreographing their fashion selection in this show.
It would be a shame to see all this creativity go to waste to an empty house. There will be two shows on April 9th, 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the New York Fashion Academy in Ballard. They are located at 5201 Ballard Avenue Northwest in the heart of Old Ballard.
It’ll be a little slice of Project Runway in the Emerald City…but, without Tim Gunn.
