Seattle-based artist Sandra Locklear is both musician and singer with a natural gift for connecting with her audiences. With intuitive ease and passionate virtuosity, she pairs a rich alto voice with jazz piano stylings refined over many years of playing jazz.
Sandra has been doing it all from jazz and blues to folk and country to pop and rock. And she has been performing since the age of 7. This is a unique opportunity to see her at everyone’s favorite Gay Piano Bistro – Martins Off Madison.
“Music is a language of the human spirit. I can’t imagine a world without music and love lifting people up through the power of song!” Sandra says.
There is never a cover at Martins Off Madison and the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. Sandra Locklear will be there Saturday July 26, 2008 from 9 pm to 12 am. What a wonderful time of the year for having a relaxing evening with a glass of wine over dinner listening to such an accomplished jazz musician.
