MORE New Year’s Eve options at Century Ballroom/Cuff Complex/Lobby Bar!

Are you less into glitterbangin’ with the hip crowd and more into tangoing in a tux or gown? The very queer friendly Century Ballroom has a number of elegant, (but on the pricey side) options for New Year’s Eve that can include dinner and three different varieties of dance. The night starts out with dinner in the Century Ballroom, at 7pm ($65 tax/tip included; Tin Table catered gourmet meal featuring lobster/lamb and an option for vegetarians) before the dancing starts at 9:30pm. Each room is ticketed separately, OR a group ticket may be purchased.

All tickets include champagne toast and free coat check. This is a 21+ event and the dancing ends at 1:30am. Elegant/semi-formal attire requested; no Jeans, Hoodies or Thermals! This means YOU, Seattle grungers!

This event sounds swellegant…too bad I don’t ballroom dance, own a tux, or have the money to afford it.

Or, a boyfriend to do all this classy stuff with…sniff.

Meanwhile, for those of you who desire the glitterbangin’ with the hip crowd style of New Year’s Eve, there’s always the option of The Cuff Complex and they have hot nights planned for BOTH New Year’s Eve AND New Year’s Day. It all starts Friday, December 31 with their Black & Blue Bash with DJ/Producer John LePage spinnin’ the night away from 10pm to 3am. Cover is $10 and includes the obligatory champagne toast at midnight and party favors and a balloon drop.

The insanity continues Saturday night with Billboard artist Kimberly S working the crowd from 10pm to 3am and the usual amount of Saturday night/Cuff Complex style merriment. Cover for Saturday night is also $10 but it doesn’t come with champagne…:(

And, for those on a budget who like a classy atmosphere, the gentlemen at The Lobby Bar are offering us a nice little New Year’s Eve party that includes champagne specials, party favors, confetti cannons, DJ Drunkunkle, the charming attentions of their attentive staff, and all for the low, low cover charge of ZERO DOLLARS! Yes, their NYE event is free…the place is going to be packed with the funemployed! We love Lobby Bar!
