It’s Friday and vaguely springish and if you’re not glued to the tube watching the horrorfying images out of Japan, you should get out of the house and DO something…like go to Lezbro at The Wildrose and hang with all your dyke sisters in arms and enjoy the music of DJ’s L.A. Kendall & Tony Burns (come wish him a Happy Birthday!) and guest dj, Riff-Raff. All are welcome, as long as you ain’t a jerk.
AND/OR stop by Lobby Bar’s “Save the Boobies” Happy Hour from 5pm to 8pm to help benefit the fight against Breast Cancer. If you like booze and you like/love/appreciate boobies, (which ARE pretty amazing) then you need to stop by.
Pony is being all sleazy-deazy as usual with tonight’s monthly “Hussler” event...join hostess Ade, DJ Moist Towellette and some Go-Go Boys on the bar for a night of decadence and Pony-rific perversion. The filthy fun starts at 9pm and NO COVER!
OR, you could try getting into Seattle Art Museum’s quarterly par-TAY, “Remix” which focuses on the current show, “Nick Cave: Meet Me at the Center of the Earth”, but it’s sold out…though rumor has it, the first 50 people who show up with MASKS on get in free…or, there’s Night Two of Re-bar’s “The Shining” parody/reading with Ian Bell’s Brown Derby Players; we went last night and had a delightful time, especially enjoying Nick Garrison’s very accurate rendition of Shelly Duvall and Scot Shoemaker’s twisted take on little “Danny”. Mr. Shoemaker’s turns Danny’s imaginary finger friend “Tony” into a campy clone of Paul Lynde…it’s effing hysterical. Don’t miss it.
AND, as always, there are the reliable weekly standbys of Lily Armani’s UnTucked show at Neighbours, and Lashes Cabaret at R Place…or C/W dancing at The Cuff Complex…or mixing with the pretty boys at Purr…but, you already knew that, right?
