Friday night was on fire at The Wildrose for Lezbro, the monthly (every 2nd Friday) club night produced by L.A. Kendall & Tony Burns. The joint was full of crazy queer action, which included the debut of Tony Burn’s mash-up of Queen’s “We Will Rock You” with Katy Perry’s latest hit “E.T.” (proven to energize the dancefloor). You’ll likely hear that jam bangin’ at clubs all over Seattle this spring and summer! This month’s special guest, Portland’s very own Fannie Mae Darling, had the crowd absolutely rapt with her witty repartee, and incredible performance complete with the most amazing vocals (including an epic version of Prince’s “Purple Rain”). Rumor has it the folks at Qulture Qreative might be bringing the incomparable Ms. Darling will be back for Gay Pride. One can only hope!
