Anyway, we do need to report that there are TWO fun events tonight that are Sappho-Centric-Ish (but, all are welcome…though the penile inclined have to pay more at one of the events…) First up, is a brand spanking new event called “SWAG” and they did such an AWESOME job describing what it’s all about, I’m going to do the ole cut-n-paste from their Facebook invite. (Side Note: I’m HATING the latest change on Facebook…they just effed up their Invite format…bastards.)

Two things: Any invite that quotes NiCki Minaj piques my interest, AND, also the fact they’re holding the event down in the “No Sane Queer Person Goes Down to Pioneer Square After Dark” land inhabited by drunk frat boy/tourist/sports enthusiast bar Tiki Bob’s. We WANT to like Pioneer Square but the city and the dumb property owners down there seem determined to make it the bastion of the homeless, drunk frat boys/sorority girls looking to get laid, sporty types heading to games/events at the stadiums, and bewildered tourists that there’s not much incentive for the quirky and the queer to head down there. The best of luck to SWAG and we hope they can turn the tide in Drunk Sluts and Hobo Land into Drunk Queers and Homo Land.

Event Two is on the safe confines of the Hill…The Wildrose is hosting another Fuego, their Latin infused night of music, merriment and slight debauchery with Lady Jane DJ and Salsa instructor Hallie Kupermann. Here’s the poo on this spicy fun:
