Actor/director/writer Julian Shaw visited Australian early morning television late last week to talk about the viral hit video, “It’s Time” made by Get Up! Action for Australia to promote marriage equality in the Land Down Under. The video, featuring Shaw has the lead character, a young man experiencing the joys of a gay relationship filmed in the first person, has become a world wide phenomenon with over 3 million hits. Over the weekend, Australia’s Labor Party voted to include marriage equality in its platform, a positive step towards eventual legislation.
