We announced it weeks ago, but it’s a done deal that Nark Magazine’s annual Pride party/fundraiser for Gay City Health Project, “Hey Tranny It’s Tranny” had some big plans in store for the June 22, 2012 edition. Not only is the party moving from Havana Social Club to the larger Neumos, it’s also got the biggest line-up yet: RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4 Superstar (and hopefully winner) Sharon Needles will headline the event, along side her partner in crime Alaska Thunderfuck, and a big fat roster of national entertainment.
Joining Ms Needles and Ms Thunderfuck, will will be SSION, the gay punk/pop/rock group known for their extravagant stage shows; the equally flamboyant Hi-Fashion, known for their hit, “I’m Not Madonna”; and, as guest djs, JD Samson from Le Tigre and Men, (NYC); Edgar Um (PA) and Phyllis Navidad (LA). AND, it’ll all be hostessed by the locally amazing diva/producer BenDeLaCreme! (Oh, and tons more surprise guests, too!)
Tickets are now on sale for what might be the biggest non-official event of Pride Week in Seattle…this puppy WILL sell out.
