Second Memorial For Scott Kalina Scheduled For Saturday, August 4 At Cal Anderson Park

We just received this Facebook invite from Arden Turnbull of Sinfinite Productions about the second public event to honor Scott Kalina who died last Saturday.

PLEASE RSVP AND HELP SPREAD THE WORD! Saturday August 4, 2012 the community will come together in remembrance and celebration of Scott Kalina.

We will begin by gathering in the “Sun Bowl” of Cal Anderson Park near the Shelter House just north of the playfield from 5pm until 8pm.

DJ BRIAN LYONS will be providing music, and we will have time for open mic for anyone who would like to share words, stories, or sentiments with the community, friends, and family of Scott. Non-Alcoholic beverages will be provided.

After the memorial in the park, we will continue on in a celebration of Scott’s life at a special edition of ANTHEM at The Social…from 10pm-2am. Featuring DJ BRET LAW, TRENTON DUCATI & TATE RYDER and a special guest performance from GAYSHA STARR. $5 Cover with a percentage of proceeds from the door benefiting the Addiction Services Program of Seattle Counseling Service.

The first planned memorial will happen this Sunday, July 29 at The Grill on Broadway in a special edition of Mimosas with Mama. Information here.
