The last post wore me out…we just got this press release from The Paramount/Seattle Theatre Group about the return of the hit musical, “The Book of Mormon”. If you missed it in January, or wanna see it again, you’ll have your chance locally…in July of 2014. Here’s the skinny:

SEATTLE, WA – Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON which played a record-breaking two-week run in January 2013 will return for a limited engagement from July 22 – August 10, 2014 at The Paramount Theatre. Subscribers to the 2013/14 KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount season will have first access to purchase tickets on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 to the return engagement of THE BOOK OF MORMON. A public on sale date is to be determined.

THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, “South Park.” Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone) and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.

Beginning Tuesday, March 5th THE BOOK OF MORMON will be available to add on to a 2013/2014 KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount subscription. THE BOOK OF MORMON is not automatically included in a subscription, but subscribers have the first opportunity to add the show to their season package. Subscriptions start at $135.75 and can be purchased online at www.STGPresents.org/Broadway or by phone at 888.451.4042 M-F from 10am-5pm PST.
