Our Gal Pals over at The Seattle Lesbian asked us to help them spread the word about this comedy event happening this coming Friday,  October 27th at Theatre Off Jackson in the International District. Out lesbian Latina comedian SANDRA VALLS makes a Halloween weekend visit with a night of comedy that helps support Seattle Women’s Pride.

Here’s more poo on the event and a LINK to snag tickets!!

We all need a laugh these days – and Seattle Women’s Pride has you covered! Celebrated comedienne Sandra Valls will return to Seattle for one night only on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Theatre Off Jackson. The event is produced by Seattle Women’s Pride with sponsorship by Seattle Pride in association with The Seattle Lesbian.

The L.A. Times exclaims Valls is “Hilarious!” and My San Antonio calls her a “Knock Out!” The funny, high-energy, lesbian Latina was also named one of GO’s “Top 100 Women We Love”.

Valls’ side-splitting performances in Showtime’s The Latin Divas of Comedy and PRIDE: Gay/Lesbian Comedy Slam have won over the masses, but she’s long been a staple in the LGBTQ community. With her unique mix of physical comedy, brilliant storytelling and powerful singing voice, it’s no wonder this comic is in high demand.

Sandra starred and co-wrote the smash hit play, The Latina Christmas Special, which sold out 22 shows at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. The show received the Critics’ Choice Award by The Los Angeles Times in 2015 and is currently gearing up for another run this holiday season.

From hosting soirees to touring with the Lezberados and the Queer Queens of Qomedy, Valls is keen on giving back to her communities. She shared the stage with Eva Longoria at the HBO Comedy Festival and volunteers and produces comedy shows for various causes, including benefits and fundraisers for AIDS, sobriety, domestic violence, and LGBT rights.

Seattleites can witness the “belly clutching laughs” in person when Valls visits the Emerald City for one night only on Friday, October 27 at Theatre Off Jackson. Tickets are currently available online via Brown Paper Tickets and on the Theatre Off Jackson website. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are $25 online or $30 at the door.

Theatre Off Jackson and The Seattle Lesbian strive to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. Please contact us if you have any questions. Our venue is accessible by wheelchair and other mobility devices. Please contact us in advance so we can unsure your experience is as smooth as possible.
