They love us in France!

Got this fantastic press release the other day about this year’s Gay Olympics er GAMES since gays are forbidden to use the “O” word…

The Games are happening in Gay Paree this time, from August 4 through 12 and they REALLY want you to come and experience all the delightful Frenchiness of this year’s celebration of LGBTQ athletes!

I’m worried the athletes will show up a week early then eat themselves right out of the competition!

en criant « All equal » !

 

La plus grande manifestation culturelle, festive et surtout sportive du monde, ouverte à toutes et à tous est organisée à Paris du 4 au 12 août.

Avec la devise « All equal » (« Egalité ! »), ces jeux entendent porter haut et fort les valeurs de respect, de partage et de lutte contre TOUTES les discriminations en France et dans le monde.

 

Autour d’une cinquantaine de compétitions et d’événements, près de 15 000 sportives et sportifs venants de plus de 80 pays sont attendu.e.s. Son objectif : promouvoir un véritable vivre ensemble fondé sur le respect.

Les compétitions sont non discriminantes et donc ouvertes à tou.te.s, sans sélection ! Les jeux sont adaptés en fonction des compétiteurs-trices pour que chacun.e trouve sa place.

 

> Avec déjà plus de 6 500 personnes inscrites aux compétitions, ami.e sportif-ive dépêche-toi et choisi ta discipline parmi les 36 disponibles !

 

> Tu souhaites proposer tes services et devenir bénévole ? N’hésites-pas et inscris-toi en ligne ; tous les profils sont les bienvenus et c’est gratuit !

 

> Tu souhaites participer à la Cérémonie d’Ouverture au Stade Jean Bouin, user le dance floor lors de la soirée au Grand Palais ou participer aux activités touristiques et culturelles, inscris-toi dès maintenant aux différentes activités.

Share the values of sport and the fight against discrimination with us

by shouting “All Equal”!

 

The largest sport and cultural event in the workd, with festivities, is open to all and will be held in Paris from August 4 to 12.

With the motto the “All Equal”, these games intend to reflect loudly the values of respect, sharing, and end the discrimination against ALL in France and around the world.

 

Over fifty competitions and events, with nearly 15,000 athletes from more than 80 countries are expected to participate in this event. Our goal: promoting way of life based on respect.

Competitions are open to all, and thus open to all without any elimination trials! The games are tailored for the competitors so can everyone can find their place.

 

> With more than 6500 people already registered for the competitions, don’t wait to choose your event from the 36 sports and 14 cultural events available!

> Do you want to offer your services and volunteer? Do not hesitate to sign up; all are are welcome and it’s free!
