REEL QUEER YOUTH, the fantastic summer video production camp for LGBTQIA+ youth and allies ages 13-20, is back in business for the Summer of 2019! The program has been a terrific asset to the Seattle community for years but Three Dollar Bill Cinema, who produce the event, needed to take a break from it in 2018 to focus on some in-house changes for the non-profit which produces not only this event, but the annual Queer Film Festival in October and the Translations Film Festival in May plus numerous other film events and programs like the Outdoor Film Screenings in Cal Anderson Park in the summer.
Applications are still open to be a part of the 2019 RQY program for both students and experienced adult mentors to work with them.
A bit more info below including links to apply. You only have until June 15th (Saturday!) so pass this along to any student or mentor who might be interested!
