Queer Bar Announces Pride 2024 Line Up: Tegan and Sara, Perfume Genius, Rico Nasty, Slayyyter, Santigold Among The Headliners

February 6, 2024• byMichael Strangeways

It’s beginning to look a lot like Seattle Pride Season Announcement Season as Queer Bar has just dropped the bomb about ticket sales and the line up for their Queer Pride Festival happening Fri/Sat/Sun, June 28-30, 2024. In previous years, they’ve given us Iggy Azalea, Kim Petras, Peaches, Princess Nokia and Charo as headliners…for 2024, they’re bringing in more big names…like Tegan and Sara, Seattle native Perfume Genius, Rico Nasty, Santigold, and actress Juliette Lewis’s band, Juliette and the Licks.

Oh, and a bunch of drag stars like Shea Couleé and the reunion of that toxic trio from Season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race…yes, ROLASKATOX will grace the stages at Queer Pride Festival as Alaska Thunderfuck, Roxxxy Andrews, and Detox reunite. All this, and so much more.

The press release:

Seattle- Queer Pride Festival (QPF) is a standalone three-day festival that sells out each summer due to its top-tier talent acts (past QPF headliners include: Grammy award-winner Kim Petras, global sensation Iggy Azalea, queer icon Peaches, TV personality and mainstay judge of RuPaul’s Drag Race Carson Kressley, and rapper Princess Nokia.)

“Our mission is to create a safe and fun space for our Pacific Northwest lgbtqiak+ community to celebrate our culture, honor our history, strengthen our unity, and recognize our diversity,” said Joey Burgess, who, along with his husband and business partner, Murf, own many of Capitol Hill’s most recognized businesses, including Elliott Bay Book Co., Oddfellows/Little Oddfellows, Queer/Bar, and Cuff Complex. “We strive to generate Queer visibility throughout our festival, Seattle, and the nation.”

But, not necessarily in that order.
